In the 60's-70's DeSoto Rd/Acres in Sarasota was one of "the" places to live. What has happened to it and why?

Actually I recently sold a home just off Desoto Road. I have many different types of buyers who shop for properties in the DeSoto area. Most properties in this area are very budget conscious they are attractive to new home buyers, some properties are a good match for clients seeking a larger lot with no deed restrictions, some clients like the area because it has a good proximity to both Sarasota and Bradenton and some clients like the friendly attitude of the neighborhoods. Like any area where there are no deed restrictions it sometimes is a bit easier properties to decline in the overall maintenance. Once this happens to one home and then another the look and value of the entire neighbor may decline. That is the risk with purchasing in a non-deed restricted area. Right now some wonderful purchase opportunities are available in the DeSoto area. The homes have large lots and good square footage If I can be of assistance please call or email.

There are 4 active listings on DeSoto and they were built between 1965 and 1995 so they are not as new now. 2325 is 299.000 and has nice landscaping, interior and exterior. It was built in 65 but the upgrades make it look up to date. If you wish to see it please e-mail or just to chat...e mail : relocateisapieceofcake@gmail.com
