Try to enjoy it while it's here and take advantage of the event.
If you are wondering if you can hear it well enough to not purchase a ticket, well, no.... not that well.
Call me tomorrow and we'll go take a look together.
One more thing. Since ACL is this weekend, you could come to the house and see what the actual noise levels are like? I f you like I could show you the house so you can see for yourself.
This home is just above the Sunken Gardens and Barton Springs Pool. I would think you will hear much of the music and noise from the events at Zilker Park. This is either good or bad and its up to you to decide which. If you attend: ACL, Blues on the Green, The Trail of Lights or any of the multitude of other outdoor festivals Austin is famous for you may love living on this street. The negative is visitors parking in the streets and being loud and leaving trash in their wake. The plus would be your ability to walk to these events and avoid the traffic jams they produce.
Yes, you will hear music and city sounds from 1104 Robert E. Lee. If you can manage to go there this weekend you'll get an ideal of 'the worst case' or 'best case' of music entertainment. I would think that if someone wants to buy in Barton Hills that a major factor would be wanting to be close to ALL the activities this area has to offer. It really will depend on 'your' level of comfort and wants.
I'd be happy to show you the area if you'd like. Just give me a ring.
Thanks and Blessings, http://www.austinhaciendas.com/
