There is a lot of crime in this area. I have lived here for one year and my home has been burglarized three times. The police can only do so much. If you do move into the area, bring a gun for protection.

You can visit http://www.HomeFair.com and click on the city reports section for in-depth crime stats and area demographics. Other options would be http://www.SpotCrime.com and http://www.CrimeReports.com

I think the measurement of amount of crime is relative to the person viewing it. I found two websites to be incredibly useful when researching a neighborhood. Redfin.com has up to date information on neighborhood trends as well as more updated listings than you would find on trulia and zillow. I think that paired with actually driving through a neighborhood would be the best way for you to form your own opinion on the neighborhood,

Issues of neighborhood safety may be best addressed by the local police or the county sheriff's department. They will have access to the most current and accurate information and are generally very willing to be helpful.

you would have better luck getting that information from crime statistics analysts, not a real estate website. Besides, we can't comment on areas outside our expertise. You might want to contact the local police department or do a google search for crime stats for that area. good luck.
