In My Neighborhood in 19027>Question Details

Andraeus, Both Buyer and Seller in 19027

I am thinking of buying a home on Windsor Road in elkins Park. What's it like? Are the neighbors friendly? Is it safe? Is the neighborhood in?

transition. Any history of termites. I love the area it seems so quiet and welcoming.

I am particularly interested in the part of the question that asks, "Is the neighborhood in?" There are some web sites that you can go to and find out information about the area as well as crime statistics. Speaking to the neighbors directly will help you gather more information and determine their level of friendliness. I welcome your phone call to discuss this in depth more. Good luck with the buying process

Hello, Andraeus,

You have an interesting son-in-law is "Andreas" - different spelling.

Anyway, I typically suggest that buyers visit a neighborhood on a weekend so that they can talk with neighbors, etc. It never hurts to ask questions, right? You can get lots of good neighborhood infomation at You can have a free Market Snapshot sent to your email address which will give you a good picture of the neighborhood.

Good luck,

Hello Andraeus,

I like Elkins Park, it is a very nice area, as far being safe i can not comment on that, no realtor can. We are prohibited by law to comment on the safety of the neighborhood. You can take a look at the neighborhood report on my site:

If you are not yet working with a real estate professional it would be my pleasure to assist you with your home purchase. I actualy thought of buying a home there myself.
