T, the answer is absolutely, it has been a virtual rollercoaster. Due to the water damage from the storms/hurricanes prices went down for a short time. As homes were repaired or rebuilt values went up again. With the more recent downturn of the economy and the rise of foreclosure rates property values across the country have decreased. Even the more lavish homes in normally stable neighborhoods have seen declines in property values. As the economy stabilizes we are beginning to see the values level off and there have even been some multiple offers on the more desirable properties. Which means values will begin to inrease again.
