Waterfronts gained a lot of value over the last five years. However, in the last 2 years, all home prices have declined due to the market conditions. If you would like to talk more about values in your neighborhood, give me a call and I will meet you at my office on Eastern Boulevard in Essex. Every area is different and the condition of the neighboring properties can also affect your property's value.

Feel free to call me with any other questions at 443-243-1832.

T, the answer is absolutely, it has been a virtual rollercoaster. Due to the water damage from the storms/hurricanes prices went down for a short time. As homes were repaired or rebuilt values went up again. With the more recent downturn of the economy and the rise of foreclosure rates property values across the country have decreased. Even the more lavish homes in normally stable neighborhoods have seen declines in property values. As the economy stabilizes we are beginning to see the values level off and there have even been some multiple offers on the more desirable properties. Which means values will begin to inrease again. If you are planning to purchase a waterfront home in Baltimore County (21220,21221) Now is the time to do so. If you would like to work with an agent who is knowledgeable about this area please give me a call or drop me an e-mail. I am a lifelong resident of eastern Baltimore County. I currently live in the 21220 zip code area. Check out my website http://www.ivegotahouse4you.com

These homes have increased in value on average right around 10% to 20%. Baltimore County has dropped due to the economy about 25%. If you would like a FREE Market Analysis on your property, please feel free to contact me.
