Help the community by answering this question:

Taxes in Michigan will vary from community to community and school system to school system. If you're looking at a specific home, why not "Google" the Official Website for the Community in question. Often, they will have a link to "Assessor" information where you can simply type in the address and gain access to the information you seek regarding taxes. If the information is not available "on-line", a visit to City Hall will be in order.

Taxes vary by community and school district. A great place to help determine the property taxes is at the State of Michigan Treasury website. visit: and enter the State Equalized Value (SEV) (this is defined as one half the market value of the property). You will also be asked what community the home is located and the school district and it will let you know the approximate amount of taxes.
