Are there many properties in Park Slope and Prospect Heights with indoor parking - aside from some of the new condo properties?

Yes and No it all depends on how much you want to pay and where. In the brownstones definitely not but some buildings do have under ground parking that may run you from $350 to $700 a spot. Wish you the Best! Jeannette Batsikas

Indoor parking in Park Slope as well as Prospect Heights is very rare, unless you consider new condo properties.

Dear Paula & Jean:

Indoor parking for re-sales in these areas is virtually non-existent aside from (as you had mentioned) new development projects. If you are looking to buy or sell a property in the area and need further assistance, please give me a call. Good luck!

Paula and Jean,
That's a great question. The answer is no, apart from new developments in the Park Slope and Prospect Heights areas, there is not indoor parking. The reason is because the housing stock of mostly brownstones was built before the car was invented. There are carriage houses still around here and there, which is where you would have kept your horse, and many are now quaint homes. There are a few lots here and there where you can pay for monthly parking.

Hope this helps.
