You have trains from High Bridge, NJ to Penn Station every hour or so. I think the closest station to both Clinton and Lebanon is the Annandale station. But if you're willing to drive up to Raritan you have more frequency. Look up the Raritan Valley line, this's your best bet from this part of NJ if you're looking for direct public transit to NYC.. All stations have parking lots and you always have spots available... more
You DON'T. These websites mean nothing. Their values mean nothing. They even admit they aren't accurate! Nothing is "hurting" your home's values. The values of your homes are based on actual sales, in recent months. (Fair Market Value).
These sites were created to make money off us REALTORS. They charge us $$ to advertise our listings, they charge us $$ so our properties will be "featured". They charge us $$ to get the "lead" from a buyer who is interested in our listing (or they'll just randomly send it to other agents if we don't pay their fees).
It's a huge SCAM and a RIP OFF. And their info is terribly outdated and inaccurate and it's very deceiving to consumers -- you the buyers and sellers! If you're interested in your home's value, talk to a REALTOR. They'd be happy to do a CMA for you for FREE. Or you can hire an appraiser and pay them $500 for the same info.
Depends on the pricing. See a local agent and ask for the PAST SOLDS for the specific location you are looking at for the past 2 years. I say 2 years in the event you are looking to see the trends for selling in the fall or winter....gives you more data to check for DAYS ON MARKET/LISTED.
Really though, comps for the past 6 months are better but the problem is you can't compare days on market in the spring/summer to fall/winter...so I think it is better to go further back to get a good feel for the colder months...Tom Hinz www.shortsaletosell.com... more
