Hello,
You may be able to find someone to lease your appartment for the rest of your term. Have you tried to talk to your land lord? You may be able to get out without any penalties! See what exactly lease agreement says?
Good luck and feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions.

Hello Ernie,
First consult your lease and see what the termination terms, if any, are. Then, don't get discouraged!! Contact your landlord. Be upfront. Try to come up with a plan that will be a win win for all involved. Be upfront about trying to find a replacement tenant. Good luck!!!
