If you qualify for section 8, the potential to buy are slim to none. Banks have tightened the reigns. Why not just rent? Rents are very cheap here in cape coral right now. 3 bedroom homes can be had for $700. I have quite a few rentals available, none of the owners want to sell in this market.

Deborah,

Thinking "outside the box..."

Why not advertise your services as a live in estate caretaker. If you can successfully market yourself, with great references, and skills, you might be able to land something.

good luck,

I would recommend apartment complex better option many properties owners would require 2 or 3 months worth of deposits plus 1st months rent. Apartment complex less move in cost.
