Hello Buying:

As Carmen astutely pointed out, the size of the land and the parking requirements change based on the application. Commercial buildings, for example, have a marketedly higher "saturation" rate than would residential communities. To learn what is needed in your area, contact your City's Planning Department. You can even point out the section of land where you might be interested in purchasing, and the City can tell you how the land has been zoned as well as the City's intention (by its own general plans) for use of the land.

Good luck!!

Sincerely,

Depend on the use of land and the city you live in. Check with the city.
