Some of my thoughts you might already have done, so please excuse.

If you think that this is something that you really want to do, the first thing you will need is a license. If you are going to do simple property preservation, you can get a handy man's license through the City or County. There you can also find more information on what you are allowed to do under the umbrella of this license. Then network!. Contact Real Estate Companies. Go on Linked, Active Rain, etc. and post your services.

The only way to realize any goal, is to write down a plan, and begin.

Good Luck to you!

Your going to have a tough time if your tryng to get in with the REO business. Alot are being taken care of by several large companys now and local agents dont have the choices they used to have, and when the local agents have the choice, most likely that business is going to go to someone they have already formed a relationship with in the past. Good luck to you.
