how do i search for sold homes?

I see you ARE a realtor. Your mls program should be able to show you all solds home.
FIRST ANSWER
you need a realtor to access the mls to find that info for you, since the search programs typically pull the solds off when they change status and the tax records don't update the data quickly. There are a few search engines that say they have the solds but the realtors are the ones with the current data
