Don't forget to have a Home Inspection done on the property. Even if the home is sold "as is" you still benefit from knowing all the details concerning the condition of the structure and its systems.

Isn't there a contact number on the listing? Why not contact those folks and ask? Foreclosure auctions are reserved primarily for sophisticated cash-rich buyers who have the ability to run title searches and contact local county offices to examine records, absorbing the cost due to volume turnover. I see no reason to bid on a foreclosure. Why not let the property go back to the bank and buy the REO with a huge discount in a few months?

Using a realtor representation as a buyer costs you nothing. A realtor has access to all properties listed in the multiple listing service that are foreclosure properties. You save nothing by shopping by yourself, an your risks, especially with REO property is much greater. Relax, enjoy the hunt, and be safe with a good realtor representing you--for FREE!! The seller pays the commission!
