Go to a lawyer and have him draw up a new deed and add her. He will then record it.

Definitely call an estate attorney as soon as possible, and start to get together any papers that you think the attorney will want to see to verify the information to base this request to bring with you to the first appointment. Don't wait for the attorney to ask, be prepared! If they have been living together 50 years bring all the documentation you can find. Good Luck, Terry Bell, Realtor, Santa Rosa, CA

Consult with an attorney ASAP ... there are a lot of legal variables involved with your question. Make sure the attorney is knowledgeable in estate planning.

Make sure that that's the best step to take. Check with a lawyer with experience in estate planning.

The process itself is simple. Any lawyer can get her on the deed. Just make sure it's the smart thing to do.
