I don't always know the year built.

I am trying to enter listings for our office, but we don't always know the exact year a home was built. In our MLS system we are able to put 1111, and it will accept it, but your system won't allow this. I have tried many other combinations (that would not be misleading for buyers) but I can't find one that it will accept. What do I do?

I just had to hunt the answer down myself! You can go to the County Clerk's office in downtown Belton and they actually let you research public records to trace back, through previous owners of the home, the actual date the home was built. This is something you have to do yourself, and if it's not listed on the tax record (Bell CAD) then it is your next best option :)

How about asking the seller and putting in the MLS that the info is per seller.
