I am working part time & getting divorced. How do I find out if I qualify for hud assistance?

My almost ex husband makes considerably more money than I do but refuses to leave the marital home to find his own apartment or home. I cannot afford to do so. Five months ago we had a court hearing to determine who would remain in the marital home while the rest of the divorce issues were resolved. We have yet to hear a ruling from the judge. I cannot stand living here anymore so I desperately need to find out how I go about finding a hud home for myself and 2 children in our area. I don't want them to have to change schools. They have been through enough as it is. Please help me find a place to start.

SUGGESTION: Why not lease a home or apartment till all is resolved. If you purchase a home while married could be involved in settlement and etc.

You need to contact a mortgage broker if you want to pursue purchasing a home determine how you can qualify all is based on credit score, debt ratio, employment history. You debt his could still be combined.
