I am an active realtor at this time, may I also become a pt realtor assoc for another realtor?

Because of my knowledge of real estate, and the shortage of income, I have been thinking on the lines of somehow acquiring a job as a realtor associate or obtaining a job within the realty business. My question- is this possible for an active realtor to do or will I have to become inactive? If it is possible and remain active, is there a certain way that I would have to advertise for this job?
