I tried searching "single level" and "single story" without success.
Syd, Thank you for signing on to the site and take advantage of all the services it has to offer. Email me or call me any time you have a question or if there is a property you would like to see.
Thanks, Valorie
Well, good, then. Not sure why it isn't showing up for me. I went to the advanced page also, even before I made my first post. That's why I suggested the other source. I'll try it again, to see if there's an easier way to do it - maybe I've been making it too complicated.
Learn something new everyday.
I used the listingbook link that Valerie presented and single story was a choice on the advanced search page.
Valorie, your Listingbook account must be different from mine - I have no such choice in Listingbook. I've search high and low at least 3 times.
It IS of course, on the MLS search, and that's why I included a link to that below.
Bob, your search didn't go beyound half way down page 1. Right below where it asks sqft., # of bedrooms etc,
it has STORIES, one, split, two or multiple.
Actually, that is quite simple..
Use one of the below searches by entering your city of choice, and under property features, enter your story preference via the drop down menu where it shows "Stories". It pulls the data directly off the MLS.
Take your choice of which site to use:
http://www.guidetolocalrealestate.com/idx/ , or http://www.hartanovteam.com/idx/
If you save the search, you will be notified daily via an email showing the new properties that meet your specific search criteria. Or, we can create a custom link just for you that will show all the properties based on your specific search criteria and you can just check it out when you want. It will be updated daily as well.
Valorie, as I mentioned below, I'm pretty sure that you can NOT search in Listingbook for a single story property. If you know of a place to look let me know. I searched for it pretty extensively.
You can search single level and ground entry because some single level can also be on the second floor allne level. You can use my web to search. San Juan has a lot of single level attached houses. Make sure to watch for the over 55yrs.
You can change your creteria anytime you want and get updates each morning for new listing and price changes.
Sent me an email or call me anytime.
Hello Syd,
I'm pretty sure that Walter's Listingbook venue, linked below, doesn't allow you to select single story properties - you have to do a more comprehensive search than that program provides.
Here is a direct link to the MLS: http://tinyurl.com/OC-CA-MLS-Search
You'll need to plug in the basics - cities, price range, etc, then click on Advanced Criteria. One there, plug in a few pertinant phrases, separated by a comma, such: one story, single story, one level, single level, and one good one, ground floor master.
With those, you should be able to narrow things down.
A better idea, is just to give a local South County agent - like me - your criteria, and let me do the searching for you. As you can imagine from the phrases, it can be a little tricky.
Good luck in your search!
Hi Syd,
Try using my web site. You can search like an agent. Good luck,
Walter
