The best website to find all types of forclosures is through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development . Most foreclosure properties are listed with a real estate firm, so any REALTOR will be able to email you listings as well. If you decide to purchase one of these properties, you will need a REALTOR to write and submit the offer to purchase. Be prepared for the closing to take 2 or more months. Short sales offer acceptance and closing can take 4-6 months.
