Hey Larry- Not sure if you have listed or sold yet. But that question really depends on where and what your home is. The key for a good Listing Agent is to identify who the market is for a particular property and how to find those folks.
As a general answer to the question, the people buying are those that have not overextended and put themselves in a tough position. These folks will not run into trouble in a few years because of crazy mortgages. The current investors are no longer looking for the quick flip (which hurt our market); they are more long term, value oriented.

I won't try to restate the obvious and say "buyers" but instead let's try and give you a specific image of what that buyer looks like. They are highly savvy, well qualified, and hunting for a bargain.

Yes, this market is different from all other markets we have had, but homes are selling! Relocation will always bring in buyers, baby boomers are downsizing, larger families still want larger homes, and the 1st time home buyer IS buying. The only difference is that buyers have more to choose from and they are not jumping at the 1st house they viewm but they ARE BUYING!
