At the beginning of spring a well-known log home builder in Cody quoted a client $325. per sq. ft. for a new log home - 10" -12" logs with a nicely done interior (not bottom dollar fixtures). I looked up log homes sold in 2008 and 2009 around Cody. One of the biggest factors still in pricing any home is location and acreage. Many of the log homes sold around Cody averaged $200. a sq. foot. But you have to take into consideration the finishing of the interior, age of home, location and acreage. A comparative market analysis could be provided for you at no charge if you contact me. It will show you recently sold comparable homes. This is a good way to begin.
