Hi Judy,
Yes, the best plan of action is to interview at least 3 Realtors and see who is the best fit for your situation. I will be featured on HGTV this evening at 7Pm ( Friday). The show is " My House Is Worth What?" Please watch if you can ,and let me know if I can help you. Thanks!

Judy, Lots of qualified agents looking to help. I suggest you interview at least 3 and compare their marketing plans before making a selection.

But, before taking that action, have you taken the time to contact your lender and review your options. Also, I suggest removing your last name from your profile as a protection.

That for sure is an excellent strategy and you can do it yourself and make it work. There is not a lot of paperwork and you can do very well to get the property leased out. Email me and I can help.

Hi Judy...it is good that you are asking for help. It is hard to go it alone in any market, but especially in this market. I am a long-time Lake Orion resident and work out of a Clarkston office and would be very happy to meet with you to discuss your options. As a start, you need a realistic comparable market analysis that will tell you what the market will accept in price. Although it is a buyer's market, houses that are priced right and are in show condition are actually seeing multiple offers. The key is pricing correctly. Please visit my website and let me know if I can be of assistance. I wish you the best of luck.

We can put together a plan to lease/sell or lately we have been doing "lease with option" programs pretty regularly. KW also has a program with MarketPlace Homes that will buy your home if you buy a KW listed home...

Hi Judy,

There are a lot of avenues to explore right now. A lot of people are leaseing their homes until they can get the price they're comfortable with for their home. My office works with MarketPlace Homes and they offer some unique solutions such as a 3 year corporate lease. The rent is guaranteed for 3 years whether they have a tenant or not. There is a management fee but for some just having that peace of mind of not having to worry if tenant will pay this month, what if something breaks, how do I evict someone, etc is well worth it. They do have a home buy out program as well but for most it's not feasible unless they have plenty of equity in the home.

I welcome the opportunity to come up with a solution that will best fit your needs. Feel free to contact me any time no obligation.

Best of luck ...
Lisa
