Hello, I'm Barb Merrill, a licensed realtor working at Crossroads Realty here in Kalispell (Hutton Ranch Plaza). As a follow-up to the previous answer from the Boyenga team, our local MLS, Northwest Montana Association of Realtors (NMAR), is a great resource for obtaining regional info, so I've included their web link below. Also, NMAR is co-sponsoring a free event this Saturday (Feb 28) at the Kalispell Center Mall - the 6th Annual Regional Housing Fair. I encourage you to attend ... it is an information packed event designed with homeowner education as the end goal. It is NOT sales-oriented, so there is no pressure or obligation. There will be lenders, builders, realtors, etc. and free classes, and plenty of helpful materials to assist you. Our local real estate market here in the Flathead has its unique characteristics compared to the 'national' market, so it is best to focus on the facts and marketing strategies pertinent to this area vs. other markets around the country. So, check out the NMAR site, attend the Housing Fair, and if you'd like more on-on-one consultation, please feel free to call us at Crossroads, 406-755-4357. Our broker/owner is Mona Wagner. There is never any obligation or hard sell tactics here, and you will not be pressured in any way. Hope this helps - thanks!

There are hundreds of great websites available to you if you are selling your home. More importantly which websites will be most effective in exposing your property to the largest audience. It is always best to start with the local mls sites since they target the local area best. Then you want to make sure that your property is getting into all the national sites, http://www.Realtor.com, http://www.Homes.com, http://www.homeseekers.com etc. Then there are plenty of local classified sites, backpage, craigslist, and gbase. Then you may want niche sites for certain types of homes, or certain locations etc. Hope this is helpful, it would be greatly suggested to do many web searches to see where the home traffic is being driven and make sure you are included in these websites.

Good Luck,
