To list on trulia and most web sites you will have to get your self an agent. With a realtor you will self money and time.

If you are referring to a fee if listing with an agent--yes commission fees are involved and they are negotiable between you and your agent--there are no set standards--if you are referring to listing your property on Trulia--unfortunately, for sale by owner posts are not allowed, you can however try blogging about the property--if and when you do list with an agent, he/she can post it for you, or consider using any flat fee realty company that feeds into Trulia.

If you mean on Trulia: Owners can't list their own homes. You have to go through a Realtor or a service that will put your information on your local MLS. Then Trulia picks up the MLS information.

If you mean on the MLS: Owner's can't list their own homes. You have to go through a Realtor or a service that will put your information on your local MLS. The charge typically runs from a few hundred dollars on up.
