Hope this is not too late, but no need to mess with the deed records. The house sold February 9th for $187,500. The house sat on the market, it appears, for nearly 2 years (originally the asking price was $224,900).

I ran comps for that neighborhood and that was the only property sold in the last 6 months. I expanded the search to surrounding neighborhoods to find more comparable properties sold but found nothing (that is, nothing listed on MLS and sold in the last 6 months). Do you need more information about this particular house such as square footage, amenities, etc? Or are you looking at the same home?

you'd have to go down to the galveston county deed records and look up the deed and note that is filed of record. the document number on the deed is 2009007739
