Hi Sandra, you can visit http http://:www.mortgage.com and search for home value there. This is citi's web site and they only use sales - not listings like Zillow among others - in placing an estimated value on the home. This tends to be more accurate than other sites since the appraiser will use comparable sales to determine value on an appraisal report and listings to help support value.

A listing agent would be able to help put an exact selling price on the home.

I can tell you what homes in your area are selling for however to give you a better price-- it is best to not only look at your home but also visit the homes that are for sale in your area-- by doing this we can give you a comparison of your home and other homes in your neighborhood. No one can render an opinion till they interview you ask a ton of questions, inspect the home, comp and etc.

It is hard to tell without previewing your property but I reviewed your subdivision woodcrest and 3 homes sold in last 6 months and 2 homes are on pending status now.

Those 100+ prices are very very optimistic. It is based upon what the county thinks you should be able to get for the property. The good news is you still have time to discuss your taxes with Dallas County! The bad news-you won't get that price as an offer for sale-Now you see why I asked the reason? Based upon the size of your home we can't expect to be in that range at all to sell it. Only 3 Properties hav sold near your property in the past 6 months and that is how we score the market value. These days it is a bit harder to give good estimates as there are so many foreclosures one is required to carefully sift through the data to be sure of their information. If you need specific data, any REALTOR can give you the information as we all have access to 18 counties in north TX. The evaluation of the numbers needs to be with the condition of your property taken ino consideration as well. It is a bit more complicated than just a phone call you see why I am sure. Based on Actual sold and Realist tax - with average condition: $126000 to 131000 range. If there has been some upgrades or changes to your home - it could change the value within reason.

There are several answers depending on the why of the question. We could answer you from a Taxes standpoint, from a I need to know for insurance reasons, or I want to sell my property or even I am getting behind in my payments what happens tot he price then standpoint. If you share the reason the answers will come much quicker. If youa re considering a sale-the most I would do without seeing the property is to give you a range and perhaps that answer you might prefer in private?
