I am recommending homeowners considering listing to do it no later than Aprill 15th. Many peole have just filed their taxes and are expecting a return so they may be considering using it for a down payment or for closing costs.
As a Broker when I decide to list my home it will definitly be in this time frame. It is what I recommend for family and friends as well.
If you need additional information or market information feel free to contact me and we can strike up a friendship and work to achieve your real estate goals.

June and July is a busy time of year, but you also have more competition. If you're considering listing your home now, the market is still active until we move closer to the holiday season. Best of luck to you.

For this reason I would list your home when you are ready to sell. Speak with your agent and talk about the timeline. How are properly priced, marketed and positioned homes in your area selling? What is the timeline you should expect? Are you willing and able to price the home correctly and put in the time to take care of the little details that will get you top dollar? You need to have these direct conversations with your agent and then determine what is the best time for you to list your home.
Best of luck to you.

In short, it doesn't matter when you put your home on the market, you have to be the best at the best price to be successful.
A good house should sell just as well anytime of the year.
