Hi Victoria, Is there a reason for needing a certified deed??? As long as the deed has been filed with county records-that is really all you need. Go onto the nyc.gov website-type in ACRIS...put in your block and lot or street address -follow the prompt and when your address comes up go unto DET or IMG image you can actually print a copy (as long as it has been filed). Pretty sure you can get the records for Manhattan as well( it has all Boros)Any questions give me a call Terry K 718-614-3167 cell or email me Therese.Korahais@elliman.com

You have to have an account with titlevest to use acris, you can however access an order page where you can pay for it online then wait 2 weeks for it to come in the mail. if you need it right away you will have to go to the building yourself. Its easier to higher an examiner.

NEWYORKDEED.com is a merger to NYCLANDRECORDS.com & does business as Needmydeed.com
The service will beat any price and will obtain your deed or requested property documents within 24hours. But they only service New York

If it was a recent purchase, you can ask the attorney who handled your closing, or contact/visit the your local county clerk's office.

Hello Victoria, you should be able to get a copy of your deed at your County Clerk's Office and they will certifiy it for you. Is cost about $1 or $2 per page to have it certified. The NYC county clerks office is located at
60 Centre Street
New York, NY 10007-1469

You have to have an account with titlevest to use acris, you can however access an order page where you can pay for it online then wait 2 weeks for it to come in the mail. after setting up an account with titlevest for acris you will have to cancel or will be charged monthly for the access. If you have to go to the building yourself and cannot get it mailed to you or from an examiner or lawyer. Be prepared to wait around all day after searching for parking, this is a public building just as crowded as the DMV.

If you are In New York, Needmydeed.com will have an examiner who is at the clerks buildings daily get your deed certified. All for 20 bucks. Its worth it to me to save the time and hassle.

Hello Victoria,

You should be able to get a copy of your deed at your local county clerk's office, there, the cost to get it certified is very minimal.

Best of Luck

Rob, that's going to get Victoria a copy, but not a certified copy. Not sure though Victoria what you were expecting to get, but I hope you have it by now.

The Title company can do it if you have recently closed, or you can go downtown to the City Register and obtain a copy, the fee is $4 per page.
