Hi! Hopefully you have chosen a Realtor that is computer savvy and customer service oriented. If she is, she will post your home not only on Trulia, but several search engines at no cost to you. My listings go out to at least 10 major home search engines, which gives you such an advantage! Think of all the people who search for a home on the internet--85% start there search there and then work with a local Realtor.

John, only a real estate professional can place listings on Trulia. If you are trying to sell your home yourself there are numerous FSBO websites you can advertise your home on. The easiest way to find the sites is through google or whatever search engine you are familiar with. You can also contact a local realtor and most will offer some assistance in answering questions, without charge, in the hopes that if you are unable to sell your home yourself you will utilize their services. John - I don't think you will be able to list your house on Trulia unless it is listed with an agent. If you are already listed with an agent it is pretty simple for them to post your listing on Trulia. Just let them know you would like to see it on here. Good luck!

I am pretty new to using Trulia and not sure how to list if it is a for sale by owner. But if you have an agent have them do it. It's pretty easy, there is no contract and only has a monthly cost.
