Hi Lydia,

You can find this typically through pucblic records or if you have had a recent appraisal!

Hi Lydia:
The agents are correct we can provide you with the information that is located in the county assessor, however that isn't always accurate. If there were any additions that were not completed then most likely the assessor will not have the accurate square footage. Some of the builders had modifications or additions that were available in certain models and so when they gave the information to the assessor it was in accurate (this is the exception rather than the rule). If you purchased it from the builder and you have the builder information it should be on that. When you purchased the home or if you refinanced your home you had it appraised, the actual square footage will be on that appraisal, they measure the home at that time. You can have an appraiser come out and measure your home also.

Please let me know if I can be of further help.

I would check with public records at the county. They should have it. Also, you can check with an appraiser as many times, they will measure your home at a nominal cost.

It should say on your trulia property profile. If you can't find it, as bad as i think the site is for value, zillow has them all.

Lydia, I can check the square footage for you if you email me at elizabeth@HomesByLiz.com. I can also tell you what similar homes have sold in your neighborhood so you will have an idea about the price of your home.

If you don't want to ask a realtor then go to the town hall and look up the records on the home.

Hi Lydia,

Just shoot me an email with your property address OR if you don't want to give me your address, give me your neighbor's address IF they have the same model as you & I'll check it out.

A local Realtor, like myself, can pull up a property profile without the need of having to go into the County Recorders office. The property profile should provide the square footage of your home made public by the County Assessor and County Recorders office. Feel free to email me with any further questions.
