Hello,
When trying to find an agent, a good place to start is by asking friends and co-workers for a realtor recommendation.
Always interview the agent. Choose a realtor who has the ability to solve problems, is sensitive to customer servie and customer needs. You agent should answer all your calls and emails in a timely fashion. Make sure the agent has knowlege about the area you are choosing to sell in. Ask the agent about a marketing plan specifically for your property. Also, many realtors have various designations. Do not be sold on designations alone. Designations are great but nothing beats field experience. Ask for references and make sure you check them.
Having said all this, I would like to point out that I am a realtor licensed in DC who knows your area very well. I would welcome the opportunity to meet and interview with you, look at your property and talk about a marketing plan specifically for your property. My cell phone number is (202) 251-8400. My email is: michelle@buckmanrealtor.com.
