Real estate agents often identify themselves as either listing or buyers agents. The vast majority of homes are sold with a cooperative broker (buyers agent). Is you question one of the following?

1. Which listing agent has listed the most homes in my area of Blue Island?
2. Which buyers agent has found the greatest number of buyers for homes listed in Blue Island?

Probably the one asking the question, LOL, but does it really matter???

Top seller of what?? New construction built by a family member?? Top selling broker taking credit for the work of " and team" Come on!

In the past 12 months, 68 homes were sold by Realtors in Blue Island. The question you should ask, who were the agents who brought the buyers!!!!!!
Interview a couple of agents. Ask them how they meet new clients, how do they find their customers. Ask the Realtors, how will you actively work to bring buyers into my listing? Will they send mailings out, what's the web marketing, etc.
Also, you might find a newer agent who isn't a "Top Selling Broker", but has the heart to get you what you are looking for.
