Shirley is right - I hate to say it, but houses sell houses! Location, floor plan, topography of the lot, condition, and price make all the difference in the world. You can have two identical homes side by side in a neighborhood; the only difference being that one has a steep driveway and the other is flat. Guess which one sells faster? It doesn't really matter the company or agent (except for what they charge $$) I've had homes sell in days in this market and others that take months. Just get a good agent you can trust to market the home correctly and price it right.

If you are looking at numbers, all I can tell you is that I have personally sold 96 homes in the Town of Apex over the last few years. This is the area I know best

I am not in that zip code, but want to give you a little advise.

Since you are a Seller, you are asking who has sold the most, but in many cases the person who sells may or may not be the Agent who listed your home. Just because someone Lists a lot of homes that happen to Sell, doesn't mean they are the best agent to list your home. And just because someone sells a lot of homes, doesn't mean that agent should list your home.

Picking someone just because of their numbers may be like playing the lottery!

My advise is to interview 2-3 agents and find the one who advertises mainly on the internet, has a good presence in your area, and is someone you feel likeyou can work with. In the end, it's the "team" of you and your agent who will sell your home.

I don't think the typical agent has access to that info...you'd have to check with each firm's broker in charge, most likely. To get that info as a typical agent, we'd have to go through every MLS listing and look at the name of the listing agent and firm and compile a list from there (unless you have a specific agent's name in mind...or a specific firm in mind...we can pull some info with that criteria).

Fonville Morisey has had the largest market share in the entire Triangle in all areas except Chapel Hill (when I last checked) and consistently has the highest market share in the majority of the cities and towns in Wake and Durham Co. This has been the trend for years w/ the next closest competitor probably being Coldwell Banker, HPW.

We all have access to the same sales data per zip code for home prices on MLS...but if you home is not currently listed and you're looking for someone familiar with the Wake Co. market, feel free to contact me. I attended college in Chapel Hill and have been in the Raleigh/Wake Co. area since 1991. Have a great day!
