Really depends on the clients but I like to give them something they will definitely remember. I am a big fan of giving grill as gifts. They have a BIG impact, especially when I drive up with a trailer to personally deliver it. Or if no one is home I will leave it on the deck or patio with a giant red bow and a thank you card. I have also given a lot of Home Warranties for older homes or homes with older systems and appliances. It gives the client "piece of mind" and if anything does go wrong we come out looking like heroes!

Hi Pope! At closing, I always give my clients a "congratulations" card with a personal note and gift card enclosed. The gift card is usually to a home improvement store or high end department store. I'd rather not say the amount.

Thanks,

Judy

Many agents dont we do a closing gift, it all depends on value of home and experience with the buyer and family.

Example: $200K we might purchase from a high end retail store crystal champagne glasses
Example: We might hire a locksmith rekey all locks and garage door opener switch
Example: We might hire a professional painter complete a few rooms to their specifications
