What is the best way to get folks to come see my home?

Cheryl, the right response will depend on the method you selected to sell your home.
You may have selected any of the following:
1. DIY
2. FSBO
3. Flat fee
4 Discounter
5. Rebator
6.Exclusive
7. Limited service
8. Affiliate/collaborative
9. Realtor
10 PLF

Only a few of these options have any hope if getting your home sold. The rest only add to the total cost of selling your home.

Not knowing the method you choose, the best I can do is suggest getting the biggest sign possible.

I don't know if your home is still on the market, but make sure your home shows well. First impressions of a home go a long way to determining how quickly it will sell. If a realtor previews the home, his/her first impression will dictate if they bring back their client. Be sure your home is tidy and uncluttered. This includes closets, cabinets, garages, and other storage areas. Be sure the grass is cut, leaves raked, plant beds mulched and weeded, etc. Make any repairs that are noticeably needed. Buyers are looking for a home they can see themselves living in. If you haven't sold yet, best of luck!

The key to bringing traffic into a home is to make the public aware of it. That come down to marketing, marketing and yes, more marketing.

make sure your working with the most experienced, Internet savvy Realtor in your area. If their not closing at least 25 transactions a year then you're not working with the right one. If you already have a top agent and you're not getting showings then the answer is simple, "You're not priced right" and the market is letting you know this.

List it in the MLS with a Realtor and be sure it is on the Internet, then it will be seen online by thousands of people. Have your Realtor do an open house. A local Realtor can discuss their marketing plan with you.

Price it right, take great photos, and market it properly.
