Often the information from places like trulia, zillow and the like are pulling their information ultimately from tax records (whice I've found are often not accurate). In this case you can make a determination- get the changes made at the county level (and risk your taxes being changed to match the growth of your asset) and then have trulia recheck or leave it and just list it and make note on listing for buyers to verify what appears to be wrong information on the tax records.

Hi Sue,

You can e-mail Trulia and provide, what you know, is the right info. As far as I know, these information published by most websites come from Dataquick so if there is a misunderstanding and you are right, I don't think Trulia will deny your request.
Best,

Laarni
