You are free to negotiate whatever rate you can with your realtor to sell your home. Please understand if a realtor is willing to quickly give up the money they will earn for selling your home, how quickly will they be willing to give up the money YOU will earn in selling your home? A HARD WORKING, HARD NEGOTIATOR is worth EVERY Penny you pay them!

Realtor commissions are negotiable, there is no set fee that is charged. Depending on the circumstances and the details of the listing, the seller and the listing agent will arrive at a commission rate they find agreeable. Remember, the commission rate you charge is usually split 50% between the Listing Agent and 50% to the Selling Agent. A more standard commission rate certainly won't hurt when it comes to getting showings!

Most agents in most areas are restricted to discussing commision terms and amounts. I would send them a personal message or give them a call.
