We lived in our home in Oregon for three years and just recently moved to Michigan.

We are thinking of renting until the market rebounds. When we do eventually sell our home, are there any special Oregon taxes we need to worry about?

We did the same thing. Know that Oregon has no sales tax...income tax and property tax.
So your "pain" from income tax on GAIN will be painful. However, talk with a CPA. We did that, and kept our home for a long time and made money when we sold.

I have a great referral for a Realtor in Portland.
