The market is pretty good in the Boone and Banner Elk are the haven for people in Florida that are looking for a summer property or that are actually moving out of Florida and instead of going all the way back up north they move half way back. Otherwise termed halfbacks. I went to high school and my parents still live down the mountain in Lenoir. So I grew up skiing the North Carolina slopes. I was more partial to Sugar Mountain though. North Carolina Real Estate Market is slower then usual as we are having high inventory and with the media and everything else buyers are very hesitant to buy right now. Still we are doing better then rest of the nation Florida especially, you have to be careful when choosing listing agent and get somebody that is going to provide you with best possible marketing as that is the key to the sale.
