We have a home to sell in Hope Mills, NC due to a job relocation. It's only 1 1/2 yrs old and has been on
the market for over 6 mths now. What is the miracle to find a buyer for our home. We've recently changed realtors and have had just 1 showing and a total of 4 showings this year. Any advice to someone trying to sell due to relocation? We like to get out before school starts end of August 2008.

Have you scheduled an open house? Is your property on the MLS website? What are the best features of your home? Are they being highlighted? What caught your eye when buying it? Have you talked to neighbors and friends to get the word out? The market is slow but seems to be picking up. Hang in there I'm sure your realtor is doing all they can to sell. Have a yard sale, a cookout , anything to bring traffice to your home and get it some exposure. Good luck! If all else fairs think about a price reduction. Are other homes in your neighbor selling? If so find out what worked best for your neighbors.
