We have a home for sale on Old Salisbury Concord Rd in Kannapolis and it is on MLS but it does not show up in any of these searches. Why?

There are a multitude of reasons. The main thing is to speak to your listing broker. He is very much akin to the marketing manager for your property. The main question that will answer all the others would be to ask what is the marketing plan for your home. It is important to have a valid set of expectations on the manner in which your property is or is going to promoted.

Your listing agent is responsible of posting here in Trulia OR any other website. Contact our Realtor discuss your interest in having your home posted in other areas besides MLS.

Many Realtors still are not computer savvy know nothing about these real estate sites. Disadvantage to any property owner.

Ijust typed in Old Salisbury and came up with active, expired and withdrawn listings. Not knowing what the house number is, it could be there. Ask your listing agent how she put it in the MLS system. Some of the information can come from the tax configurations. If it is a brand new listing, it will take a day or two. Keep checking and it should be there. Wishing you the very best on selling your home. Your agent should be more than helpful in answering any of your questions.

Hi Wanda,
It's possible that your agent has the zip code incorrect; it's also possible that it has been inadvertently left off of idx feeds. Ask your agent!

Wanda, if it just recently got listed on the MLS it can take several days for it to show up on other sites.

If it has been on the MLS for a while and still not showing up then ask your listing agent to get it up there for you. When I get a listing I market it on Zilow, Trulia, Realtor.com, craigslist and all of the other major real estate sites, but it actually takes some work by the listing agent to get this accomplished. Good luck with your sale.
