Hi Maybride, as prior posters have said, this factor will cause you to lose a subset of the buyer pool. The big issues in selling real estate are price and location - and the first one can cure the second. In other words, you will need to factor the fact that the proximity to the cemetary will affect desirability into your pricing. I think that the location matter will affect two things - the price and the time to sell. And maximizing exposure will be especially important for you - you want to make the possible buyer pool as large as possible.

So align yourself with an agent you trust - listen to their advice and move forward. Good luck to you!

Maybride,

Both good answers below. I'd be happy to provide you with a comparable marketing analysis and our marketing plan as well. I have a good idea of where you are located, and my office and I have sold many there in that neighborhood over the years. Let's talk!

There will be a percentage of people that will immediately say, no thanks. It happens.

But there are many buyers that will bein the same mindset that you were when you purchased the property and it may not bother them at all. A lot depends upon the house itself. I would need to come and take a look at the property and pull some comps before giving an evaluation and then we could discuss the buyer traffic from that point.

Call or email and we can discuss.

Hi Maybride,
I think it's very difficult to tell exactly how many potential buyers would be lose because of the location. But for the right price some buyers would not care about the cementery.
