In today's market it takes longer to sell a home. But it all depends on the motivation of the seller, the exact location, asking price, condition of the property and access.

The fact is, there is no crystal ball for how much time someone has to market a home in order for it to sell. It's all based on the above factors and getting the word out to the right market that would be interested in the home.

But also, homes that cost a million dollars and more may take longer to sell because your buyer market is decreased because not many people can afford a property in this price range.

Plus with a multi family home, if it's not vacant then you may have problems accessing the property through tenants. Also when it comes time to close, sometimes tenants turn on you and refuse to move in a timely fashion.,

There's plenty to deal with in this situation, but if you do your homework and know what you're dealing with up front then you can do this in a timely fashion.

I hope this answer was helpful.
