Hi! I'm hoping someone can give me advice on a house I've inherited in Shafter.
Background: This house, which belonged to my parents, has been on this piece of property since the '50s; however, when I look at it's official zoning, it's listed as "comm/ind". I am thinking of selling it. I definitely wouldn't choose this market in which to sell; however, the renter (a family friend) who has been in there for the past few months has decided to move out. The house, I'm afraid, would need work done in order to re-rent, and because I live out of state I'm in no position to deal with that. It's a very unique property situated on it's own little "block" cnd is well situated for commercial use.
My question: is it possible to list a property as both residential and commercial? If so, are there certain realtors who would be better than others to do this with? I'm looking for someone who is familiar with the Shafter market, and who uses a variety of marketing methods.
Thanks!!!
Morgan - I think this would take some serious screening, but I would be glad to reach out to agents I know and try to find someone to refer to you - it may end up being one brokerage/2 agents - 1 that does commercial and one residential.
You might get lucky and someone here will respond who can help... but that would be amazing.
We provide referrals at no charge -if you'd like our help, please pull the form and either email or fax it to me. Give us a little time on this one, however, it's not your "average, run of the mill" referral that we do everyday.
