Our real estate agent took money for FHA required home repairs but six months after the closing, the repairs still aren't done. Are we liable?

This sounds very strange... not sure why an agent would EVER take money for work to be done? I would contact the broker and see if you can get to the bottom of this. Had it been a few days I would not be as concerned... given it is months... something sounds fishy to me...

Sick did the agent take the money or was the money placed in an escrow account with the title company for repairs to be completed after the sale? The traditional way is for repair money to be placed into escrow. If the agent took the money call the police!
