Once my house is listed For Sale on MLS, will it appear on Trulia after a couple days?

Jane

Or does my Agent/Her Broker need to manually list it here too? Thanks.

Jane has indicated that she already has a listing agent, you guys should not try to solicit her! She is asking a general question and answers should only relate to that, not to your brokerages.

Ask your Realtor - their policy for listing on sites onther than MLS should have been part of the marketing plan. At Keller Williams, we also put the listing on our KW site4, and it is automatically distributed to many other sites, including Trulia, Yahoo, and Google.

Jane,
When you list with Coldwell Banker your home will automaticly be listed in Trulia and many others major websites.
I can referr you an CB Agent from your City if you would like me to.

Jane,

As for Trulia, agents must place the listings on the site. They can either
buy a membership to Trulia, or syndicate through a service like pointe2nls.
Most agents don't understand and use these marketing opportunities, so the
vast majority of listings do not show up on Trulia. Hope this helps!

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

Jane, Ask your realtor that took the listing to make sure and post it there. It is a great tool and should be one of many your listing agent is putting into action. Good luck!

Jane,
Your property should be on many different sites. If it is not you need to reconsider who you listed with.
Check out http://www.point2homes.com and see some of the many sites that are out there.
All the best,

It depends on the brokerage. Some brokerages does allow their listings to go public outside of Realtor.com and some doesn't. He/she may need to manually enter it. Keep an eye on it, and if it is not on Trulia within a week, you should manually input it.
