My property is under a restrictive covenant that does not allow use of my land for other than residential.

A group wants me to waive my restrictive covenant so they can change the zoning to highway commercial. Do all members of the covenant have to sign off on the waiver to make it effective?

Hi Dave,
Very likely all propertyowners will need to sign off to change the covenants. Do you have a copy of the Restrictiive Covenants? That question may be addressed in the covenants themselves.
As an experienced REALTOR, your question brings up several more ???.
Do you know that Restrictive Covenants are dixtinct and seperate from Zoning ordinances here in Cumberland Co, PA?
What is the reason this group would like to have the covenants voided? Also, if I was your agent, or advocating on your behalf, I'd ask if the change Is a benefit to YOU??
Make sure you are asking all the questions you need to have answered before you sign off.
Contact me if I can be of further assistance.

Blessings to you,
