The first item, is has the will been probated, if not; then it needs to be probated.
The second item is interview agents who have listed homes in the area where you home is located (is it in Wills Point?, if so; I can send you information on real estate agents that may have listed and sold homes in Wills Point, the key here is to find someone that you feel comfortable with that has listed and/or sold homes in Wills Point, you will need this comfort feeling as time goes on as you and the agent may have many conversations pertaining to the market, what it is going to take to sell your home, etc. and you need some one you are comfortable with.
I do not work the Wills Point market and at this time, know very little about it, but if you have further questions, I will be pleased to answer them for you.

#2 once the process is finished you can proceed.
You'll want a family or estate attorney to help you.
If you need a referral let me know and we'll get you one.
You can potentially put the home up for sale now, contingent on the completion of the probate.
I'm sorry for your loss. If you need help getting the house on the market please let me know.

Sorry again for your loss. I would consult with a title company and make sure all of the issues are taken care of. This will allow you to address anything that may still be a loose end that needs to be taken care of before selling. It would also make sense to interview some local agents to see whom you feel is the best fit as far as their experience and how well you think they would be to work with.
Hope this helps.

I am sorry to hear that. Be strong everything will be fine. I am not sure if you are moving to another place or staying in the same town. I would think it important to interview a few Realtor to see who you are most comfortable with and that are responsive when you call or ask questions that you are not sure about. Ask each individual Realtor to see what is their marketing plan for your property, what is the sold in the area and what time frame does it takes to sell your property with the improvement that you and your husband may have add to the property at some earlier stage. Ask that you have a couple of days to think things over don't make a decision on the spot. You can also ask the Realtor to negotiate a lease back period while you look for other property, be it down sizing or preparing to move else where. Hey, Joy you will be fine. Just know that Realtor have a fiduciary duty to work with your best interest in mind when you sign them up to work for you. Thank-you.
You have my sympathy. I would be happy to assist and guide you through the home selling process. Feel free to contact me at your convenience.
Has the will gone through probate yet? Once that's cleared then you'll want to consult with 2-3 Realtors to determine who would be best for the job of listing your home. The range of services can vary from Realtor to Realtor and company to company so you'll want to make sure you're getting the level of service you need.
Please feel free to contact me directly at 469-450-1326. I would be happy to discuss this with you further.
All the best,
