My husband and I just got married less than a year ago. We are in a condo complex built in 2006. It is

incomplete. It looks like the builder may have foreclosed on two of the units in here (one the same model as ours). I emailed the realtor of the listings to find out more. It is listed for exactly half of what I paid 2.5 years ago. Should we try to list asap? Is there any recourse if it is the builder that is doing this and bringing down the property values in here? I don't know if we can even rent the place out because there may be restrictions on how many units can be leased. Any advice would be helpful. We don't want to be stuck here forever. We want a family and don't want to raise it in 2br condo. :( Help.

What an awful frustrating matter.Look if you want to move this is the best time to buy the worst time to sell. You will take a hit on the front end but gain on the back end. If you want me to help with any of the research to best resolve your situation I will be happy to.Contact info jenkuehn@kw.com.

good afternoon.....you're in a great area..i live in walled lake, and know that wixom has made some great improvements...problem is ..you are facing the same problem everyone else is with declining values......i assume you mean that the builder was foreclosed on.....anyway.plan your exit strategy first.if you need more room...then figure out where and what the new home would cost.....and of course the area....there is a good chance that your existing home isn't warrantable and could be almost impossible to mortgage for a prospective buyer.....i would need to know more about the complex.....and your unit....bob mcclure- success mortgage partners- plymouth, michigan......

I have heard this story far too many times this year. You might consider leasing for a year or two until the market comes back a bit. I have been very successful in doing this of late. Please call for more information 248-613-1935 or visit my web page at http://www.novetsky.com

Hi Andi ... this is an unfotunate circumstance that many are faced with as well. It does not sound like listing right now is the best option because your unit will be compared to the foreclosures that are currently up for sale.

Do you feel like you have to move right now? If not, I would wait for those to sell and reassess the market. In the meantime, also determine if you can rent by contacting the association. I can certianly keep you updated on what's happening in your area ... just let me know.

Sincerely,
